An individual who lost his life in a helicopter incident in Doncaster on that day has been revealed by his loved ones as the deceased, aged 70.
The pilot, 41, and additional individuals traveling, an adult woman and a child, 10, suffered non-critical harm.
In a message shared by officials, the family portrayed Mr Smith as "a beloved husband, parent and grandparent" and mentioned they were "completely overwhelmed by this sudden loss".
"The victim had a real passion for aviation, and this was a hobby he shared with his family," they noted.
"Peter particularly loved to spend time with his young relatives doing crafts and having fun. He was a devoted loving relative who spent a lot of his time with his child, both working with and in leisure. Peter enjoyed to have dinners out with his partner and had a particularly love for desserts."
The chopper had taken off from a local airfield, in Nottinghamshire, only a little before it went down in the local neighborhood of the area, off that street, shortly after ten o'clock GMT.
Authorities from the proper departments have begun a combined inquiry into the crash.
In the message, the loved ones stated they were cooperating with the inquiry and requested people "to not guess on the factors related to the crash".
"We all would like to request for solitude during this incredibly hard period to permit us to come to terms with what has occurred and mourn for the loss of Peter," they added.
A representative for the agency said a unit of professionals in aviation, technical aspects and recorded data had been sent to the scene on that day.
The chopper is understood to have been owned by a helicopter firm based at the airport. The organization said it would "continue to cooperate with" the authorities engaged in the inquiry into the accident.
The organization, which according to its digital platform provides pilot instruction and adventures, stated in a update on online platforms: "During this extremely difficult period every one of our considerations and hopes are with the relatives and companions of all those affected in the aircraft crash which occurred yesterday."
The announcement continued: "Our sincere condolences are extended to everyone touched by this tragedy and we will naturally keep on support appropriate departments participating in the continuing inquiry."
