Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making huge financial rewards.
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really going ahead.
